Gary and Suphannee (Su) McCartney have owned and operated the Guesthouse since 2003 (Year 2546 on the Thai Calendar)

Su is a native of Sisaket and Gary first visited the province in 1973 and fell in love with the province and Su.

After many years in other parts of the world, Gary and Su decided to settle in Sisaket and build the Guest House for their enjoyment and the opportunity to share this beautiful, unseen side of Thailand to those who wish to get off the beaten track, away from the usual bright lights or other tourist destinations in the country.

Since the Guest House has opened, many foreign and Thai tourists have visited and often return to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the camaraderie and friendship with the locals in the area.

If you come after April 2007, you will see a new addition to the family who, hopefully, will look more like Su than Gary.

Well, April 2007 has come and gone and the beautiful result is to the left.

Thankfully, the newest member of the family has the best features of both Su and Gary, but definitely Su's good looks. (Sorry Gaz)

Su is an excellent Thai Cook and Gary is a master of the Aussie BBQ so dining in the guesthouse offers many opportunities to experience a wide range Thai and Western foods.

Gary and Su always look forward to welcoming new people and love showing off this side of Thailand that few ever get to see.
